The BootstrapArena Marketplace: Buy and Sell Startups with Verified Revenue

    November 6, 2026

List your startup for sale in two minutes. Buyers see revenue read straight from your billing provider and send offers to your inbox. No commission, and the first 100 listings are free.

Selling a small online business usually starts with the same awkward step: proving your numbers. A buyer asks for screenshots, then a screen share, then access to Stripe. Most conversations die there.

The marketplace on BootstrapArena skips that step. Every startup listed since we made verification mandatory already shows revenue read straight from its billing provider. So when a founder marks one as for sale, the buyer starts with numbers they can trust.

    How selling works

    1. Submit your startup the usual way: paste your website and a read-only key from your billing tool. AI fills in the name, description, logo and screenshots from your site. 2. Say it's for sale. At the end of the form, open "Want to sell this startup?", choose Yes and enter an asking price. Monthly profit and a reason for selling are optional. 3. Go live on your launch day. Your startup page and your for-sale listing appear together. 4. Answer offers. Each offer arrives by email. Accept, decline, counter or just reply.

Already listed? Open your startup's edit page and use the "Sell this startup" card. It takes about a minute.

    How buying works

Open the marketplace. Each card shows:

    • the asking price, in US dollars
    • MRR, when the revenue is verified
    • the revenue multiple: asking price divided by verified annual recurring revenue
    • whether the revenue is verified or not

Click through to the startup's page for the product, pricing and the 12-month revenue chart. When you're ready, click Make an offer. Your offer and message go to the founder by email, and you take it from there together.

    What "verified revenue" means here

The founder connects a read-only key from one of 12 billing tools: Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle, Polar, Dodo Payments, Chargebee, Recurly, RevenueCat, ChartMogul, Baremetrics, Shopify Partners or the App Store. MRR, ARR and the revenue chart are read from the provider and synced automatically. Nobody types the number in, and test-mode keys are refused.

Some older listings joined before verification was required. They are still in the marketplace for now, clearly marked "Revenue not verified", and verified listings are always shown first. Treat an unverified number as a claim to check, not a fact.

    What it costs

    • Free for the first 100 marketplace listings.
    • After that, a one-time €9.90 to list for sale.
    • No commission and no success fee. You keep 100% of the sale price.

    What we don't do

BootstrapArena introduces buyers and sellers. We don't hold money, draft contracts or transfer assets. For anything beyond a small sale, use an escrow service and a simple asset purchase agreement, and do your own due diligence: churn, refunds, traffic sources, and who actually owns the code and the domain.

A note on pricing your startup

Small bootstrapped businesses often sell for somewhere around two to four times annual profit, with wide variation. Growth, churn, how much the business depends on you, and how clean the handover is all move the number. The multiple on each card is there so buyers and sellers can compare listings on the same footing. A realistic asking price gets offers; an ambitious one mostly gets silence.
